Two blocks from downtown Raleigh, and I have chickens in my back yard. They are very friendly. They belong to my next door neighbor, but will hang out at the fence and cluck at you, if they know you are there. Do you think they are hoping for food?
On the knitting scene, I knit up a pair of these pocketbook slippers. Hakucho's looked so fab, I had to try a pair. I was going to give these, with the scarf, to my sister. But, they look really good with my Kaki's and they are warm, too. I used Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece and boy, do I love it. I'm going to be using this yarn again, for other things, I think.
