Why Me(me)?

Sigh...

The thing is, I don't like meme's.  They are irritating to me, not fun.  I understand that there are some people who like them.  I, myself, have been guilty of participating in these silly things.  And all of you have been really nice about going along with them.   But...they are about as much fun to me as a chain letter.   I don't know which is worse.. .trying to think of, in this case, '8 random things about me,'  or trying to come up with 8 poor souls to 'tag.'   Seriously, do any of you really want to read these?  Almost anything I could list, you probably already know, that is, if you read my blog at all.

Hmmm....Okay.

1. I don't like memes.
2. I have children.
3. My children call me 'Mom.'
4. I live in Raleigh.
5. I knit.
6. I breath.(for now)
7. I pull my hair out, on occasion.(like, now)
8. I'm cussing (right now).

Okay, okay...since I love the friend who tagged me soooo, so very much, I'll try to do a little better.

1. I have 5 children.
2. My oldest son is an actor and is filming his 4th movie at this time.
3. I am a teacher, by trade.
4. I have blonde hair (okay, some gray), but am sometimes told it is red...please.  It's cause I have a couple of red headed kids.
5. I love the ocean (NC Coast)
6. I graduated from Western Carolina University
7. I love to watch football, basketball, baseball, and soccer. (golf sometimes and hockey, too)
8. I believe in God.

5 Secrets de Moi

Here's my listing for the 5 Secrets Meme. (Thanks, Shannon:->)The idea is to post 5 things about yourself that have never been reveled on your blog.  Please don't be angry should I list something you already know from my blog.  My brain really is fried from years of television and listening to my husband talk (and talk, and talk).  I may have forgotten that it's already been revealed.  So, without further adoux and in not particular order:

1. I have been married for 22 years.  This explains my inability to think rationally.
2. I spend more money on yarn than I should.  (Do these things count if they are, technically things everyone who knows you has figured out some time ago, but you have never actually admitted to?)
3.  I have 2 dogs, a beagle named Darwin and a fiest named Zoe.  They sound really ferocious when someone comes to the door, but they wouldn't harm a gnat.  (couldn't catch one either)
4. I am 43.  I have blogged about my 20 yr. old and my 19 and 17 yr olds, so you probably deduced that I have more than a few grey hairs, but hey...
5. I love watching old movies.
